Waterslide Decals - Undead

Description

This set contains water Decals with an undead design. The stickers are specially designed for modeling and offer detailed and realistic undead motifs. The water Decals are applied with water, no solvents are required. You can also use GSW Decal Softener and GSW Decal Fixer to enhance and protect the finish on uneven or rough surfaces.

BASIC INSTRUCTIONS:

Cut out the design as close to the outer edge as possible. Use a brand new cutter for better results.
Pick up the design with tweezers and soak it in water for about 20 seconds. Warm water can help with this process.
Use a brush to carefully transfer the design from the backing sheet to the model. That's it!

ADVANCED INSTRUCTIONS:

Before applying the decal to the model, apply some GSW Decal Fixer to the area of the model where you want to place the decal. GSW Decal Fixer protects the underlying paint and smoothes the surface to prevent silvering. Use a brush to carefully transfer the design from the backing film to the model. If it is difficult to move the design, adding a little more GSW Decal Fixer or water will help the design float on the surface until it is properly positioned.
If the surface to which you want to apply the flat motif is curved, e.g. shoulder padding, the motif may wrinkle. To avoid this, apply GSW Decal Softener after placing the design. Let the Softener react and it will help remove wrinkles by conforming to the curved surface underneath. Repeat this step 2-3 times until the wrinkles are removed. Remove excess liquid with a cotton ball to remove the liquid between the design and the surface. Roll the cotton ball over the motif to keep it from lifting off the surface. You can also use a paper towel to press down on the design in a rolling motion to remove excess liquid. By using GSW Decal Softener, no cuts are needed to remove wrinkles in the design.
Finally, apply GSW Decal Fixer again to the motif and the surface of the model we worked on to unify the surface. If you feel it is necessary, apply a matte or gloss paint finish to add or remove a matte or gloss effect.
