Ulrik the Slayer

Ulrik the Slayer, also known as Grandfather Lupus and Guardian of the Sons of Russ, is a wolf high priest of the Space Wolves.

As evidenced by his snow-white hair, Ulrik is the oldest living wolf (excluding dreadnoughts), older even than the Great Wolf Logan Grimnar, who has served the order for 700 years. It was Ulrik who selected the future Great Wolf Logan Grimnar to join the Order and watched him grow into the leader he is today. Ulrik still has a close bond with Grimnar and is his chief advisor, still calling the Great Wolf by his first name and treating him as if he were still a young upstart.

Ulrik rose to prominence during the First War of Armageddon, serving as a Wolf Guard in Lord Kruger's Great Company of Wolf. As his company charged head-on into the attacking World Eaters Chaos Space Marines, Lord Kruger fell in battle with three hulking Khorne Berserkers. Despite losing his own weapon, Ulrik leapt to his feet to defend his dying master, killing the three berserkers in a bloody melee. His battle rage was so awe-inspiring that Angron Daemon Primarch of the World Eaters felt compelled to offer a grim salute and chose him as Kruger's replacement. To everyone's astonishment, Ulrik declined, being one of the few, if not the only, wolf to turn down such a promotion. Basically, Ulrik thought he was a warrior, not a leader

Like all Wolf Priests, Ulrik is equipped with a Crozius Arcanum, a Fang of Morkai, and a Wolf Amulet. He also carries a plasma pistol. In recognition of his status, Ulrik was bestowed with the Sacred Wolf Helm of Russ, crafted by the Emperor's own craftsmen and given to Leman Russ at the founding of the Space Wolf Order. It bestows a piercing gaze on Ulrik, boosting the morale of any wolves that set eyes on him while striking terror into any unlucky foe.

This multi-part plastic kit contains all the components necessary to build Ulrik the Slayer, a poseable Space Wolves miniature! With his massive Crozius Arcanum and Russ' wolf helm, he truly cuts a formidable figure and inspires those Spaces Wolves around him to ever greater deeds. His backpack features wolf skull openings and his windswept cloak is covered in engraved designs. Eight components in total, including one Citadel 32mm Round Base.
