Tyranid Broodlord

Broodlords are a Tyranid leader organism considered the quintessential Genestealer race.

Always the first Genestealer to perform a planetfall when the Tyranids first invade a world, the Brood Lord leads the Genestealers in their bloody ambush.

Even more powerful than regular Genestealers, they are particularly adept at infiltration to get closer to the enemy. They are highly adaptable and highly intelligent, as well as being synaptic beings that allow them to function independently of the Hive Mind. Its powerful claws can cut through most materials with ease.

When a Tyranid hive fleet invades an infested system, the Hive Mind asserts synaptic dominance over the Broodlord and his Clan.
