As the companions scattered at Amon Hen, Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli decided to pursue the Uruk-hai who had kidnapped the hobbits Merry and Pippin. These three hunters pursued the enemy to Rohan, where they journeyed to the safety of Helm's Deep alongside Théoden and the people of Edoras.
But when the injured convoy was attacked by a pack of warg riders, the three hunters took horses and fought to protect the convoy from Sharka's hunters in front of the Eorlinga Theoden. Legolas rode with Gimli, whose horsemanship left much to be desired, allowing the mighty dwarf to enter the heart of the battle early in the battle.
This set makes two Citadel metal miniatures depicting Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli, the Three Hunters, as they appeared during the warg attack.
The Three Hunters are a great addition to any good army, capable of hitting hard both at close range and at range. Aragorn's inexhaustible heroism makes him a mighty warrior, while Legolas' impeccable accuracy with his bow and Gimli's wide range of attacks provide incredible support.
