When he was younger, Taiki was a fleet-footed scoundrel with a heart of gold and a penchant for whatever chilled by the kitchen window. Pies, rice cakes, and sweet treats were his favorite thieves, which he then dutifully distributed to all the other wayward kids as well. He grew up tough in countless villages in the Ro-Kan Mountains. Taiki was never selected to join the Temple of Ro-Kan, but he never took his eyes off the monks as they trained, and between what he observed and practiced and romping around with the other village children, he developed one all his own fighting style. Niseru, his now steadfast companion, also had a wrong approach to what was his and what was others'. His fondness was fermented apples, which got him tipsy, and the ability to open a sake bottle or beer keg. But when they teamed up? They became a tsunami of almost unstoppable thefts. If it wasn't for them how they protect the village and villagers from attacks and unwanted agressions, this mischievous couple would have long since run afoul of the local militia. But the two are inseparable, and the villagers have grown fond of them, even learning to turn a blind eye when a meal or drink magically disappears.

Taiki's Ape Ki Feat requires a friendly Monk model that Taiki can observe and copy as best he can. This allows you to break the activation order, perform TWO activations in a row and give Taiki additional melee options. Taiki is also bringing Event Trap Cards to the Temple's Monk themes for the first time. Combined with Niseru, Simian Trickery allows for a wide range of tactical plays, letting your opponent guess where these models will attack by spreading out and then using the trick to suddenly outnumber the enemy. Niseru is more of a nuisance than a fighter, but Surprise's negation can be a real boon, especially with the recent release of the Shiho. Changing the special attacks from 0 cost to 1 is a real concern for certain lists; those takashi now have to pay for Critical Attack!

Blister contains two miniatures that come with 30mm bases and colored profile Cards.
