Sultanate Frontline Squadrons Information
The Sultanate Frontline Squadrons are an impressive force in the naval battles of the Dystopian Age. Here, you will find further information about the ships included in this set:
Izmir Monitor
The Izmir Monitor plays a crucial role in supporting the larger Mehmed-class ships and ensuring the defense of vital rivers and coastal areas under the Sultan's protection. Though service on an Izmir is often seen as a sideways step for captains, they are essential for maintaining a strong defensive line. However, the constant presence of a Grand Monitor can restrict the initiative of the ship's captain and officers, as orders may change at any moment.
Iskandar Cruiser
The Iskandar class was the first to benefit from the Sultanate's magnetic impeller advancements, making them an integral part of the highly mobile Sultanate armada. Often partnering with Pasha-class ships, these light cruisers take the lead in conflicts and are equipped with advanced reconnaissance systems that allow detailed intelligence gathering. This enables them to position themselves strategically and maximize the impact of their impressive weapons.
Sadrazam Heavy Cruiser
The Sadrazam Heavy Cruisers evoke envy from naval fleets worldwide and showcase the advanced engineering prowess of the Sultanate, comparable to that of the Covenant of the Enlightened. Combining speed, maneuverability, and enhanced firepower, Sadrazams are formidable opponents. Often equipped with particle beams, the sight of a squadron of Sadrazams on the horizon can even intimidate the bravest enemy commodores.
Temir Frigate
The Temir Frigates are frequently deployed as part of large battle fleets, providing flanking support for Pasha or Izmir-class warships. Their task is to engage secondary targets while the larger ships focus on the main assault. These frigates are versatile and bring strategic depth to the Sultanate's naval forces.
The Sultanate Frontline Squadrons set includes six multi-part plastic miniatures:
- 2x Cruisers (Can be built as Iskandar, Izmir, Pasha, or Sadrazam class, with the option to combine both cruisers and build a Hurrem Grand Cruiser or a Mehmed Grand Monitor)
- 4x Temir Frigate
As with other sets, please note that the miniatures are delivered unpainted and require assembly. Unit cards are not included, but they can be found on the Dystopian Wars website. With these mighty ships under your command, you can immerse yourself in thrilling naval battles and demonstrate the power of the Sultanate's naval forces in the Dystopian Age.
