Story of Suzaku
In the dark and twisted world of Malifaux, a reflection of an alternate Earth in the 1900s, gothic horror, Victorian structures, steampunk inventions, and wild west gunslingers collide to form a dangerous, yet captivating landscape. In these near-lawless lands, filled with undead amalgamations, vengeful apparitions, and other nightmarish Creatures, many still venture forth, driven by the allure of the powerful Soulstones buried deep within the labyrinthine catacombs.
Operating in The Shadows of Malifaux is the Ten Thunders, a secretive crime syndicate involved in a range of illegal activities including assassinations, blackmail, racketeering, burglary, gambling, smuggling, drug trafficking, and more. Based primarily in Malifaux City’s Little Kingdom, the Ten Thunders aim to seize control of Malifaux in its entirety. Members of the organization are sworn to secrecy and are expected to give their lives for the cause without hesitation, displaying an unwavering devotion to their ultimate goal of dominance.
Amidst this world of organized crime and chaos, ancient stories speak of powerful Oni like Suzaku, entities whose influence and power shape the fates of those bold enough to confront them.
