Stormtalon Gunship

The Stormtalon Gunship is an air interceptor and ground attack aircraft that serves in the armies of the Adeptus Astartes. The Stormtalon boasts vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) capabilities, allowing it to hover in place while unleashing its powerful barrage and engage in more conventional dogfights such as a supersonic interceptor.

The Stormtalon is fast enough to attack almost all but the fastest enemy aircraft, while well armed enough to turn the chosen foe into a mass of twisted debris and shattered flesh.

The arrival of a single Stormtalon from war-torn skies has turned the tide of many desperate battles that have seen the Space Marines face certain defeat on the ground. The Stormclaw can always be counted on to deliver a hail of ferocious firepower.

Whether aiming his weapons at enemy ground positions or approaching foes in the air, he is more than capable of wiping out the threat. The Stormtalon Gunship normally operates in a squadron of three known as the Skyhammer Squadron.

Although smaller than the Stormraven, the Stormtalon Gunship is incredibly fast and manoeuvrable, making it an excellent air intercept and ground attack ship. With the draw of a trigger rune, the Stormtalon's Techmarine pilot obliterates his victims from existence amid a whistling hail of missiles, lightning bolts and laser beams.

Meanwhile, the Stormtalon lurches and weaves through blooming flak clouds at incredible speed while enemy fire slices in vain around her. The Codex Astartes dictates that this small, agile vehicle is best used as an escort for its larger counterpart, the Stormraven, or as fire cover for advancing Space Marine ground forces.

However, many Chapters, notably the White Scars, Solar Hawks and Raven Guard, also use the Stormtalon to great effect as dogfights and vanguard ships, whether dueling the aircraft of the Xenos forces or the winged Daemon Engines of the Traitor Legions.

This multi-part plastic kit contains the components necessary to assemble one Space Marine Stormtalon Gunship. It can be equipped with a range of weapons including a twinned heavy bolter, twinned assault cannon, twinned lascannon, Typhoon missile launcher and Skyhammer missile launcher. Also included are a flying basestick and a Citadel 120x92mm Oval base and a Space Marine Vehicle Transfer Sheet.

This kit can alternatively be used to build a Stormhawk Interceptor.
