Imagine an unstoppable darkness looming over you, shrouding Longfall in an impenetrable fog. The city is on the brink of chaos, as power-crazed Brotherhood members and curious Amazons have opened two ancient doors leading to a dark, thoroughly evil world. Through this rift, the shadows return and endanger Leonera.
The shadow characters may be weak, but they have two nerve-wracking properties: they turn into smoke instead of being immediately eliminated, and they can continue to harass the enemy as shadows. These shadows can later reunite to form full shadow characters.
There is also the shadow power, a pool of points that is replenished by events such as the elimination of opponents. This power can be used to strengthen or create new shadow characters. For example, a pistol can be instantly charged, increase its range and improve its ranged combat values using Shadow Power.
The return of the shadows heralds a dark era for Leonera. Be prepared, for the darkness is back - and it is relentless.
