A system of viable exoplanets has been discovered, and the Confederations of Earth are racing to seize their chance at colonization. Welcome to Space Gate Odyssey, a captivating 2 to 4-player board game that combines development and flow-management, where you step into the shoes of a Confederation leader, poised to guide your people towards a new era among the stars.

After decades of tireless research and technological advancements, humanity stands on the precipice of leaving Earth behind to venture into the uncharted cosmos. Yet, the journey to these newfound exoplanets presents a unique challenge—the construction of space gates. Due to the intricacies of quantum physics, these gateways can only be built in the cold vastness of space itself. Thus, each Confederation has embarked on constructing their own orbital station, equipped with these miraculous space gates.

At the dawn of this colonizing era, these portals grant access to the first three discovered exoplanets. When a full contingent of settlers gathers at the gate of a space station, they are teleported to their chosen exoplanet. The landing conditions on these planets vary, and the strategic choice of where to colonize becomes a critical decision.

Once one of the three exoplanets is completely colonized, each Confederation gains influence based on their placements. This success then paves the way for access to the two later-discovered exoplanets. As the race continues, when all five exoplanets are colonized, the stations are transported to the enigmatic Hawking planet, where the influence of each Confederation is put to the ultimate test. The leader of the most influential Confederation will ascend to the prestigious rank of Governor of this new system.

Space Gate Odyssey presents you with a multifaceted challenge—developing and optimizing your space station. The efficiency with which you manage the flow of your settlers, from the station to the exoplanets, will determine your success. Your ability to strategically select and arrange modules, consider the distance between airlocks and gates, and align the domains of your modules with the positions on the Hawking planet Predominance—all these factors will contribute to your influence and ultimately your victory.

But beware, as you construct your station, don't leave too many open corridors exposed to the abyss of space. The safety of your settlers is paramount, and neglecting their well-being could tarnish your reputation and hinder your quest for dominance.
