Sorcerer of the Chaos Space Marines
A Sorcerer, or Chaos Sorcerer, is the most powerful psyker among the Chaos Space Marines and the other forces of Chaos. Wizards play the same role as librarians for Loyalist Space Marine Chapters and sanctioned psykers for the Astra Militarum, although many powerful Wizards can also be considered psychic Champions of Chaos. Instead of the subtle psychic manipulation and divination employed by the Aeldari Farseers or the power-enhancing powers of the Space Marine Librarians, the Chaos Wizards wield death, destruction, and mutation, the most potent powers of the warp.
Sorcerers of Chaos shape their own destiny with arcane rituals and unspeakable pacts forged with the malevolent beings of the Empyrean. In truth, "sorcery" itself differs from other forms of psychic abilities because it requires interactions and dealings with entities of the warp for knowledge and/or power in order to achieve one's egoistic gain. Through the knowledge gained through such pacts, sorcerers channel the soul-crushing energies of the warp into powerful curses and blasts of wyrdflame, shaping the fabric of the material universe with little more than a hateful curse.
Constantly exposed to the power of Chaos, wizards are inevitably haunted by the prospect of eventually succumbing to crippling mutation or insanity. Though they believe they are above the worries of mortals, in truth they are also mere pawns raised by the Dark Gods and then spent for their own amusement. This plastic kit comes in 9 components and makes one Chaos Space Marines Wizard armed with a power staff. The model is supplied with a Citadel 40mm Round Base.
