Sigvald the Prince of Slaanesh
Sigvald the Magnificent, Prince of Slaanesh is a mortal champion of Slaanesh and the leader of the warband of the Decadent Host, who rose from the Old World and returned to the Mortal Realms after Slaanesh escaped from his prison in Uhl-Gysh.
Sigvald is boast incarnate, a blissful overlord with golden locks of long flowing hair, and not a shred of humility or restraint. A single scar remains on his body, a reminder of his imprisonment by the god of death, Nagash. His tide of followers is seemingly endless, and each blow dealt to him incites the wrath of thousands of his mortal followers.
With the Dark Prince's burgeoning power in his prison at Uhl-Gysh, Sigvald fed on particles of the god's essence, which began to escape and regained some level of consciousness and control.
The Resplendent Mirror was later stolen by some duardin privateers from Barak-Zilfin, who were overwhelmed by the treasure's overwhelming beauty. After fleeing to the deserts of Penultima in the realm of Shyish, these Kharadron Overlords became obsessed with their prize and died of thirst, neglecting their basic needs and dying.
The Resplendent Mirror was later found by a group of hedonite godseekers known as the Scarlet Cavalcade, led by Chaos Lord Rashevious. As Sigvald stared at the mirror, he summoned all his foul magics to conjure the most twisted and grotesque image on Rashevious, enraging the silver-haired champion to uncoil his whip and smash the mirror. This action caught the attention of the Dark Prince himself, and Sigvald was fully reborn in dark glory.
Upon his return, Rashevious and his followers bowed in supplication, amazed at the Magnificent's supernatural beauty. Sigvald's first act was to slay every sixth member of the Scarlet Cavalcade before leading the Godseeker warband against the Troggoths in retaliation for how he had died in the Old World. He sent Blissbarb Seekers of the Scarlet Cavalcade into the caves of Penulmia and pulled out everything Money-Prince saw as ugly and mean. Enchanted by the glowing colors of the Scarlet Cavalcade, the troggoths emerged from the caves, led by a massive trogg boss, and riddled with poisonous arrows imbued with the light of Hysh. Soon only the trogg boss remained and challenged Sigvald to single combat, who gave in maliciously and spitefully.
Next, Sigvald searched for his original weapon, the rapier known as the Sliverslash. Though many Pretender warbands claim possession of the blade, Sigvald searched deep within the Realm of Chaos for the Palace of Delight, sought out the demon craftsman Gyll'Falai, and forged a new blade using fragments of his former prison and six locks of Sigvald's gold hair. With Shardslash, Sigvald can now begin his Conquest of the Mortal Realms in earnest, leading a vanguard of Myrmidesh Painbringers and his personal warband, the Decadent Host.
With his weapon in hand and the creation of his personal army, Sigvald now seeks revenge on Nagash for his imprisonment by taking action against the Ossiarch Bonereapers and not daring to invade Nagash's capital, Nagashizzar. It is Sigvald's intention to bleed the realm of death with a thousand cuts, as he now has all the time he needs to explore the hidden pleasures and pains the Mortal Realms have to offer.
A master swordsman, Sigvald considers himself the greatest duelist of the Mortal Realms. Such is his speed that centuries-old elven blademasters appear in his presence like stumbling orruks, gradually bleeding from mercury blasts until completely dismembered into cruel, tiny pieces. Exuding an ethereal aura of dark majesty, Sigvald fills those who gaze upon him with the desire to prostrate themselves at his feet in praise or to venomously cling to his shining armor until he is hypnotically choked to death. It's said that if you look in a mirror and see a distorted mockery of her self-reflection, the favored prince lurks nearby.
