Question about item
The Sd.Kfz 250/1 was a reconnaissance and transport semi-tracked vehicle used primarily by scout and HQ units. The vehicle was a shortened version of the ubiquitous Hanomag series Sd.Kfz 251, and similar to its longer cousin, there were many variants that performed different tasks, such as cable carrier, ammunition carrier, and radio carrier. It had room for six men, including driver and passenger, and was armed with two MG34 machine guns, one pointed forward and the other covering the rear and air.
This model is based on the original 'Alt' version that was in service with German forces in all theaters during WWII, as well as with the Romanian allies.
There are enough Parts to build one of the following versions:
- Sd.Kfz 250/1 - the standard version of this armored half-track vehicle.
- Sd.Kfz 250/3 - command variant, equipped with a radio antenna, used by Rommel as his personal command vehicle Greif.
- Sd.kfz 250/10 - platoon leader's half-track vehicle, with the front machine gun replaced by a 3.7 cm PaK 35/36 anti-tank gun.
Also includes crew Figures with separate heads wearing normal or winter uniforms, and a figure depicting Field Marshal Erwin Rommel!
