Mankind has long been limited to travel by land and sea, but a new technology has emerged from the greatest minds in Eastern Europe: airships. These steam-powered behemoths soar freely across the skies, aiding the expansion of their empires through innovation and confrontation. Over the years, the world has come to understand that no single faction will rise above the others for any length of time. Hoping to reduce conflict and increase peace, the leaders of Europe begin to gather each year to explain a new way for the factions to resolve their differences.
Scythe: The Wind Gambit, an expansion for Scythe, adds two new modules that can be played together or separately with any number of players and either with the base game alone or with other Scythe expansions:
• Airships: (1 miniature per faction; 16 tiles) An airship is a new type of unit distinctly different from characters, mechs, and workers. Unlike these units, airships never control territory. Airships are moved using a move action, and rivers and lakes do not restrict their movement. Each airship has two randomly combined abilities (1 aggressive and 1 passive ability; same combination for all players).
• Resolutions: (8 tiles) The Resolution module changes the ending of a Scythe game. When playing with this module, ignore the default game end trigger (when a player places their sixth star, everything stops and the game ends). Instead, the resolution tile for the current game determines when and how the game ends.
Scythe: The Wind Gambit is available now in stores worldwide.
