Sculpey Original (55 gr.) This polymer clay is soft and malleable and feels like plasticine, but does not dry out when exposed to air. After baking, it can be sanded, drilled, carved and painted with water-based acrylic Paints.
It can be used alone, but it is better to mix it with Super Sculpey Beige/Medium/Firm to improve the kneading process, reduce the hardness of the material and also get a less expensive material. When used alone, it tends to adhere more easily to tooling, but when used in combination, it enhances the use of Super Sculpey as a base.
Like all polymer clay, it does not cure until baked, at 275°F (130ºC) for 15 minutes. Baking can be done in any conventional oven.
