Not only did this determined gnoblit manage to escape the harsh lands, but he did so with an unlikely companion—an ogre named Mertha. However, their relationship is much more than just a means of escape. Scribbit and Mertha are close friends, inseparable since they turned their backs on the Roughlands for good. Now, they’ve found a new home in Vertridge, where they are living their shared dream of jousting and challenging the stereotypes associated with their respective races.
