Description
Known as the finest horsemen in Africa, Numidians went into battle without armor, but were adept at harassing slower enemy units with javelins and faced enemy cavalry with ferocious zeal. A well-placed unit of Numidian cavalry, best deployed on the flanks of a warband rather than forming its center, could undo defeats and make victories extraordinary.
In SPQR, the Numidian cavalry can re-roll any melee roll against any enemy cavalry.
