The Figures in this box represent a battalion of a Russian infantry regiment from the years 1809-1814. All Figures offer the option of wearing either the 1809 or 1812 kiwer (shako) or peaked caps. The 1809 Kiwer remained in use until late in the war, also paralleling the 1812 model. The 1811 rules stipulated that a Grenadier Platoon (Grenadier Division) belonged to each battalion, and these are also included in the box. The Figures can be painted as a regular "infantry" battalion or as hunters or marines.
So with this box you get the opportunity to model a versatile Russian infantry battalion from the period 1809 to 1814. You can assemble and paint the figures according to your preferences, be it as a regular infantry battalion, hunters or marines. This makes the box a great basis for historical miniature projects and the representation of various aspects of the Russian infantry during this period.
The box frame for 40 infantry figures.
