Primaris Redemptor Dreadnought

The Redemptor Dreadnought is a new pattern of the Adeptus Astartes Dreadnought specifically designed to serve alongside the Primaris Space Marines. Like the standard Castraferrum Dreadnought, it is designed to give mortally wounded Primaris Astartes another chance to continue serving the Emperor. Redemptor Dreadnoughts are massive war machines that shatter bones and shatter skulls as they bludgeon through enemy ranks. Larger, wider, and more ingeniously crafted than traditional design dreadnoughts, these goliaths of battle are powered by hyper-dense plasma reactors and intricate fiber bundles.

They can accelerate from a booming stomp to a thunderous, galloping gait that shakes the ground, and dash through hails of fire in glorious defiance. A jointed arm of the Redemptor is given to either a devastating Heavy Onslaught Gatling Cannon - a rotating ballistic weapon that can eat through a band of Heretic Astartes in a single pass - or a Macro Plasma Incinerator, a weapon that harnesses the heat from trapped suns to melt enemy tanks into seething mud.

The other arm terminates in an articulated dreadnought-sized power fist of advanced design dubbed the Redemptor Fist. With this piston gauntlet, the Redemptor can even tear apart Tyranid biobeasts and Daemon Engines at close range. The wondrous design of the Redemptor's neural connections is such that its occupant, despite being buried in a box-like sarcophagus in the dreadnought's Torso, can wield control with surprising dexterity and speed. Still, it is whispered that the Redemptor's advanced systems are both a curse and a blessing.

The Martian tech experts in the service of Archmagos Dominus Belisarius Cawl, who first built these walking machines of destruction, cared little for the health of the incumbent, viewing him as just another piece to be buried or replaced if necessary.

Many of those Redemptors who fought for long periods of time have already replaced their sarcophagi, their original pilots being burned out by the intensity of the machine's destructive power.
