Pyrexia, as the name suggests, is the embodiment of fever—fever in blood, in battle, and in uncontrollable rage. The dull, fire-blackened iron of this Demon Lord's body is forged from the blood spilled on every battlefield since the dawn of time, soaked into the cracked and ravaged ground. Every act of bloody violence—from a predator tearing apart its prey, to the first murder committed by humanity’s ancestors, and even the eternal bloodshed and torment in the demonic realms—is an unwitting sacrifice on one of Pyrexia’s countless altars.
One of the most powerful Demon Lords, if not the strongest in terms of sheer force, Pyrexia harbors no grand designs or ambitions. In a perverse mockery of balance, Pyrexia has never used his immense power to conquer his demonic brethren, seemingly lacking the motivation to do so. Some even believe that Pyrexia has no motivation at all, existing only as a manifestation of the inherent violence within existence. Pyrexia cares nothing for these speculations—if indeed he possesses a mind under his fiery, blood-soaked haze.
What remains undeniable is that the Fervent One always finds himself at the center of every glorious carnage. His fiery body steams with blood as fast as he absorbs it, engulfing everything around him in a cloud of salty rust.
