Protecteur Battlefleet Set - Information
The Protecteur class, huge submersible assault carriers, was the work of Canadian Frank Andrew Fleming and his assistants at the Davie Shipyard. The Protecteur combines a large carrier vessel with the stealth and offensive capabilities of a submarine.
The Newfoundland cruisers form the backbone of the Canadian Navy, offering their services to the Crown's armed forces. These impressive warships are the brave frontline defenders against the Union's expansion plans and any other faction daring to intrude upon the Crown's dominions.
Building upon the Newfoundland hull design and equipped to support fleet operations, the control cruisers of the Toronto class play a vital role in coordinating Canadian defenses. The installation of a McGill radar array above the bridge enables an impressive fire control station. Similarly designed, with a powerful combination of heavy firepower and ablative-armored prow, the Bonaventure class cruisers serve the Dominion of Canada in the harshest battles across the Arctic, Atlantic, and Pacific oceans.
Arthur McCurdy's enhanced shield generator technology was arguably the most groundbreaking application of the proven Guardian Generators. This huge device is mounted on the Shield cruiser of the Halifax class, providing even more comprehensive protection for critical elements of the Canadian battle fleets.
Designed to support and reinforce Canada's fleet actions, the Yukon class ships are particularly adept at setting blockades and disrupting threats to shipping routes.
Threats to Canada can often be deterred or even eliminated long before encountering the more visible elements of the Crown's battle fleets. Orca Hunter submarines are silent hunters in the pack.
The Protecteur Battlefleet Set kit includes seven multi-part miniatures made of plastic and resin:

- 2x Canadian Frontline Cruisers (Each cruiser can alternatively be built as Newfoundland, Bonaventure, Halifax, Toronto, or Yukon class ships)
