Jump Packs are a fast form of locomotion for Space Marines, allowing troops to quickly jump over terrain and onto structures. These mighty war machines are covered in runes and foul sigils dedicated to the hideous Skaven deity. It is the foul shrine of the Pestilens clan, and doom and ruin follow in its wake. The Plague Furnace is driven into battle by a gathering of chanting Plague Monks, the creaking of its iron-shod wheels audible above the roar of devoted imprecations. The decaying chassis of the Plague Furnace is infested with woodworms, but it's the huge and ornate swinging brazier that draws attention.
A scorching hot censer of wrecking ball proportions swings back and forth, releasing overwhelming heat and a stirring cloud that even humble beasts instinctively recognize as poisonous and unnatural. The rhythmic vibrations of the infernal blast furnace create a menacing sound as the swinging censer drags through the air, leaving a trail of deadly fumes and deadly contamination. It stings the eyes and engages the senses to contemplate the shimmering heat of the swaying orb. As the greenish fumes sweep over the plague monks, they wet their torn robes. This polluted mist begins to twitch the smallpox-stricken brothers, their eyes bulging in an unholy passion for battle and bloodshed.
As the Plague Furnace is brought forward against the enemy, the Plague Monks tighten the ropes more feverishly, increasing the momentum of the blazing orb. As the seething Brotherhood tumbles the Plague Furnace into the enemy battle line, the rusty chains holding the large Warpstone incinerator are released, causing the giant censer to tumble into the center of the enemy unit. The unholy payload continues to emit the deadly green-tinted warpstone fumes as it is heaved back into place.
This multi-part plastic kit contains everything you need to assemble a Plague Furnace and crew of three Plague Monk, covered in sinister rusted spikes. There are 54 components and a Citadel 120mm Oval base. This kit can also be assembled as a Screaming Bell.
