Oxidizer

The Oxidizer is a specialized agent designed to activate the natural oxidation process of metals, generating realistic porosities and rust effects. When applied, it helps create a natural, weathered appearance by rusting metal surfaces, including brass photoetches. This process also enhances the adhesion of Paints to brass, ensuring a better grip for further detailing.

This product works exceptionally well with the pure metal Pigments in our range, producing a very authentic rust effect.

Please note, some natural rust produced during the oxidation process could be toxic. To ensure safety, it is recommended to varnish the oxidized metal after use, sealing the rust and preventing direct contact.
