Due to their involvement with the hugely unpopular Hobgoblins, the towering Hulks never really found many supporters within DreadBall. The Viking is a former Rallion Roses player who has been made over by the marketing experts at DGB. Disguised as an old-earth Viking, he's finally found an audience willing to embrace him. While he has no idea what a Viking is or what Earth was like, he's pleased that at least the crowd stopped throwing things at him and booing the whole time.
The original barricade was torn down after a spectacularly poor DreadBall season that left many speculating that it was malfunctioning. Barricade stayed in the junkyard until Joshua Zizz, grandson of original creator Josiah Zizz, was forced to build Barricade 2.0 when he fell into debt with a mysterious crime boss known only as "Blaine". Barricade 2.0 is now dedicated to playing OverDrive while Joshua pays off his debt. According to some media reports, Joshua should be able to retire Barricade 2.0…. 7,856 Earth years.
