Also known as a Mad Doc or just a Doc, an Orc Painboy is a member of a special class of Orc Oddboyz who are responsible for healing injuries that even highly regenerative Orc physiology cannot repair, such as severed limbs and brain damage. They use "Stabby Bits" as their medicinal Tools.

An orc will only go to a painboy if they have no other choice, as these oddboyz are notorious for trying experimental procedures (like the much-dreaded squig brain transplant) on patients while under anesthesia (known as "concussion") ) other intelligent races).

Painboyz are responsible for attaching raw bionics called "bionics" to orc patients created by the Mekboyz, although sometimes they are not careful and substitute the wrong part of the patient's body. This is often distressing for a patient who is the lucky recipient of an exploding leg, especially when it was his arm that needed treatment.

Yet orcs are surprisingly resilient and arms, legs and even heads have been swapped and the orc in question survived to tell the tale!

High-level painboyz are called "painbosses" and are known to be accompanied by cybork bodyguards, which they usually create themselves.

Orcs as a race are extremely tough and resilient; The only sure way to kill someone for good is by decapitation. Many unfortunate opponents have had the nasty surprise of seeing the orc they just disemboweled fighting on, barely hampered by the horrible wound.

However, there are limits to the resilience and regenerative capacity of greenskins, so the "Brain Boyz" (as their creators are known by the Orcs) saw fit to provide the Orcs with medical specialists with a genetically encoded knowledge and passion for the inner workings of The body of the orcoids.

Such Orcs often call themselves "Medikorks" or "Medboyz", but most Orcs know them as "Painboyz", "Butcherz" or "Mad Doks". Rather than serving as a calming presence like the medics of other intelligent species, painboyz are avoided at all costs by their fellow orcs. Because all Painboyz are very enthusiastic about their role, but have only rudimentary knowledge of their craft and no consideration for the well-being of their patients (victims).

Equipemt

All Painboyz carry an enormous array of saws, knives, cutters, tongs, and other Tools that they use to poke around in the bodies of their companions, collectively referred to as "Stabby Bitz," which are twice as efficient as melee weapons.

Many Doks also carry an 'Urty Syringe, a giant syringe they use to inject victims with a "medicinal" liquid that also doubles as a powerful, poisonous melee weapon.

Also, some Painboyz brew Fighting Juice, a terrifying mix of battle stimulants and narcotics that can keep even a badly wounded Orc in battle. Painboyz are often assisted by Gretchin Assistants, who wear some of the Mad Doc's gear and do their best to aid the Orc in his craft.

Highly enthusiastic but disastrously inept, these Gretchin assistants just as often make the situation worse for the patient as they actually provide assistance. The average Painboy is equipped with:
