Ork Lootas
Lootas are thieving Orcs who use stolen Weapons to craft their fearsome deffguns and fulfill the role of heavy support on the battlefield.
Lootas are the thieves and scavengers of ork society - fleet-footed villains who steal anything that isn't nailed down. No one can feel safe around a mob of Lootas - a brief scuffle with a Loota over a stolen item will most likely result in the previous owner finding their lunch, slugga and golden tea mysteriously missing. Some of them are so efficient that they can even loot enemy vehicles. However, Lootas are also very receptive to their possessions. If an orc is skilled enough to steal something from a loota, he won't claim his possession (at least not if the thief is looking) - he stole it fairly, after all. Some Lootas insist that "Sharin" is an integral part of Orc culture, but most Orcs insist that Lootas are a bunch of thieving scumbags with no more honor than a baked Squig.
They play an important role in Ork society, being able to find all the Bitz needed for Mekboyz's latest "Project". Meks see them as high-profile customers and salvage workers. Because of this, they are often found in Big Mek Warbands. Many Lootas also belong to the Death Skull clan, a dangerous gang of dirty-fisted thieves who welcome their Loota brothers with open arms.
Because of their attitude, Lootas tend to become quite wealthy by Ork standards. They trade the best items in their possession for increasingly powerful Weapons. Their primary weapon is a deffgun, a heavy shoulder-mounted weapon usually crafted by a known mek from Weapons the Lootas have been able to steal or collect on the battlefield. In battle, they gather in mobs and provide fire support with their deadly weapons, sometimes accompanied by Meks who want to see how their creations fare in battle. After the battle is over, they plunder the battlefield, taking weapons, armor, and gear from their enemies' dead before selling the gear to the Mekboys.
This multi-part plastic set contains enough components to build 5 models: either 4 Lootas or 4 Burna Boyz, plus an Ork Mek armed with a Kustom Mega-Blasta. Models are supplied with 32mm round Bases.
