Old One Eye is a unique Tyranid Carnifex with the ability to regenerate from mortal wounds. His body bears the scars of many blows that should have killed him, and rumors persist among Imperial forces that Old One Eye has been killed more than a dozen times. He is armed with a pair of giant, crab-like claws capable of tearing apart even the toughest enemy.

Old One Eye was the Carnifex who led the Tyranid Hive Fleet Behemoth's assault on the Ultramarines' world of Calth, smashing away Leman Russ main battle tanks like they were insects. His rampage was stopped when a forgotten hero of the Empire fired a plasma pistol through his eye and into his brain. This shot marked the first time Old One Eye was brought down and it is still unable to regenerate its eye and is permanently scarred with a plasma burn running down its skull.

Solar Decades later, after the Hive Fleet Behemoth was driven out of Calth, a gang of smugglers stumbled across his body frozen intact in Calth's ice packs. They thawed it in hopes of getting a bounty on the corpse, but Old One Eye's severe wounds began to heal immediately. It soon awoke and slaughtered the smugglers. Isolated from the Tyranid Hive Mind, a Carnifex reverts to its instinct to kill mindlessly, and so the release of Old One Eye heralded a series of Tyranid raids on Calth. Land convoys were destroyed, Habs smashed, and entire populations massacred.

Lesser Tyranid Creatures such as Termagants and Genestealers, also left behind by the Hivefleet Behemoth invasion, were drawn to Old One Eye as the dominant leader organism of the Tyranids. The people of Calth called for help, and Scout Sergeant Telion of the Ultramarines answered them.

Telion tracked down Old One Eye but found it difficult to pierce its armored flanks. As Telion's warriors were sliced ??to pieces by the beast, Telion fired a one-in-a-million shot that hit his shattered eye socket. Overcome with pain, Old One Eye stumbled into a cavernous chasm. Telion conducted a search for the body, but Old One Eye was never found.

The ultimate fate of Old One Eye is unknown, but there have been multiple reports of Carnifexes matching his description wreaking havoc on the realm of Ultramar and beyond. If all legends are true, then Old One Eye has been killed more than a dozen times.

Old One Eye's ability to heal damage dealt to him during combat has led to theories that it is an unstable mutation, a Tyranid experiment in rapid cell regrowth abandoned by the Hive Mind. But with the arrival of the Hive Fleet Leviathan, this mutation has become almost standard on every Carnifex.

The Genestealer Cult, known as the Behemoid Undercult, worships Old One Eye alongside his own Genestealer Patriarch. It is of such totemic importance to the subcult that they ritually scar and tattoo or even cut out their own right eye to pay homage to the creature, as they see it as a prophet of the Xenos god, whom they simply call "Behemoth".

This plastic kit contains 110 components with which to make 2 Carnifexes, which can be assembled as either Screamer Killer Brood, Carnifex Brood, Thornback Brood or Old One Eye's Brood.
