Atop ghostly steeds, the Hexwraiths ride right through their foes, turning blood to ice and tearing the souls from screaming warriors. Once proud and ferocious knights, These ethereal killers relive their glory by bringing pain and death to mortals.

Also known as the Reaper Knights, Hexwraiths are fierce horsemen who ride haunted steeds. They charge forward, lit by strange balefires, wielding their eerily glowing scythes in deadly arcs. A single blow from such a weapon can sever the cord between a soul and its body, allowing it to be claimed by the wielder. The flickering flames that surround Hexwraiths are the smoldering remains of spirit stuff stolen during their killing sprees by those feared cavalrymen.

In the past, hexwraiths mounted to haunt battlefields and rode down mortals to claim their souls. Spectral Riders were often recruited as shock elements in Nagash's undead legions, but since the timid Necroquake, the Hexwraiths have most often been found in the Nighthaunt processions. They strike hard and fast, galloping across rivers and walls to pursue the enemy. Their cruel laughter echoes across the battlefield as their terrified enemies try in vain to flee.

This multi-part kit contains 91 components with which to make 5 Hexwraiths wielding spirit scythes. A model can be assembled as a Hellwraith, leader of the unit.

This kit can optionally be used to build 5 Black Knights. It is supplied with 5 Citadel 60mm x 35mm Oval Bases.
