Nighthaunt Cairn Wraith
Only the souls of the sickest and most twisted mortals descend into the Underworlds and become Cairn Wraiths. Most spirits simply evolve, transforming into shadows that are mere echoes of their former selves, dark fodder for Nagash's vile purposes. Some, however, remain defiant. Those with supreme willpower to endure the spiritual torment that robs them of everything they were, apart from their endless hatred. Only the most vicious mass murderers persevere, becoming Cairn Wraiths - wraiths who delight in hacking down mortals to see their souls seep out.
Armed with a Reaper Scythe, Cairn Wraiths of the past were lone predators that haunted places where amethyst magic lay heavy, such as battlefields, burial mounds, or areas where great tragedy occurred. Soulblight Vampires sought out these killers and used magic to bind their services, for Cairn Wraiths serve no one else willingly. Following the tides of death magic unleashed by the Shyish necroquake, the hooded ghasts stalked the mortal realms in unprecedented numbers. With a single act - the ritual construction of the Great Cairnoch - Nagash bound them all instantly. Some Cairn Wraiths were bound into the service of necromancers or Vampires, but most wandered off into Nighthaunt processions, where Knights of Shrouds were quick to bring their fearsome fighting skills and zeal for bringing death to bear.
This set contains a spectre of the vampire lords. The highly detailed plastic kit consists of 8 Parts (including three different head variants) and a sculpted corner base (20 mm). The miniature is unpainted and must be assembled.
