Nemo Rising: Robur the Conqueror is a cooperative board game that immerses players in the exciting new adventures of Captain Nemo and the Nautilus crew, as introduced in C. Courtney Joyner's novel, Nemo Rising. In this game designed for 1-4 players, participants can step into the roles of key characters from the series: Captain Nemo, Sara Duncan, Adam Fulmer, or Ulysses S. Grant. Together, they'll embark on thrilling journeys, confront perilous challenges, and tackle demanding missions.
Working collaboratively, players have the option to select from two intriguing scenarios. The first scenario takes you into the Undersea Grotto, where you must venture outside the Nautilus to collect vital supplies while evading menacing threats like sea hydras, deep-sea scavengers, and the formidable mechanical Kraken. Alternatively, the second scenario invites you to explore the majestic City in the Sky, where you'll face off against the formidable Robur the Conqueror and his army of foot soldiers, war dogs, and steam-powered contraptions. Special action cards and customized dice provide the tools needed to tackle perilous tasks and overcome formidable foes, all in a quest to save the world.
