Morven Vahl

Morvenn Vahl is the current abbess of the Adepta Sororitas and a High Lord of Terra.

Originally a Celestian of the Order of the Argent Shroud, she was placed in her position by the Ecclesiarch at the start of the Indomitus Crusade to fill the previously vacant position of Abbess to boost morale. She was one of the youngest abbesses ever to hold that position. Vahl was not even consulted on the matter and only learned of her promotion when Ecclesiarchy delegates arrived to brief her while she was conducting the Reskgard cleansing. Vahl stunned everyone in attendance by not immediately accepting the position, but instead stating she needed a prayer time to think about it. She entered the shrine of her mission at Saint Silvana for three days, when she came out she accepted promotion to abbess. Shen again shocked everyone present by immediately requesting someone to fill her current position before heading to Terra, ignoring the many planned days of celebration and ritual to mark the occasion.

Upon arrival on Terra, Vahl proved much more difficult to control than the Ecclesiarch initially thought. She continued to wear full battle armor in the presence of members of the Holy Synod, and her unforgiving and baroque manner intimidated many of the cardinals and Ministorum bureaucrats. Their initial focus was on re-establishing contact with as many Chapters as possible after the Great Rift, and almost all of their work was focused on purely military matters. Even after being promoted to High Lord of Terra by Roboute Guilliman himself, Vahl showed little interest in a political career, instead seeking to continue her role as military commander. For this reason, few were surprised when she appointed herself commander of the crusade against the treacherous traitor worlds of the Philosopher's Belt. As the leaders of all major Chapters, Vahl led by example and personally took to the field to defeat the traitors. During these exploits, she largely ignored the many generals, governors, and admirals who demanded her attention, instead leaving such matters to her associates of the Order Dialogus and Order Famulous.

After Vahl became the supreme commander of the Adepta Sororitas, unlike her predecessors, she continues to lead her sisters from the front lines. The Ecclesiarch originally hoped Vahl would be a simple farmer. One of her most recent campaigns was in Charadon, where she led Battle Group Tarsus and defeated the forces of Black Legion Lord Discordant Akhorath Zeid.

In battle, Morvenn Vahl wields the Power Spear Lance of Illumination relic gifted to her by the Adeptus Custodes and the Paragon Warsuit Purgator Mirabilis.

The kit comes as 41 plastic components with which to assemble one Morvenn Vahl, Abbess Sanctorum of the Adepta Sororitas, and is supplied with 1x Citadel 60mm Round base. This kit also includes three head options, one with a helmet and two without.
