The Model Air range consists of matte water-based acrylic Paints specially created for airbrushing.
The Model Air color range contains the most complete selection of military colors used in recent history - including those of WWI and WWII. Each color is based on extensive research of existing and past military references to provide the modeler with the highest level of historical accuracy possible.
Model Air paint can be used straight from the bottle or diluted with Vallejo Airbrush Thinner or Flow Improver. It is recommended to first prime the surface with a Spray Primer and then apply several thin coats of Model Air. The colors dry very quickly and form a homogeneous color film of exceptional durability, preserving even the smallest details of the model. Compressor air pressure of 15 - 20 PSI or 0.5 - 1 kg is recommended for airbrushing these Paints. Model Air can of course also be applied with a brush, but this will not achieve the same results.
For subsequent airbrush care, we recommend using the Vallejo Airbrush Cleaner.
