Marena Battlefleet Set Information
The Marena Vitruvian Colossus is a marvel of engineering that instills icy fear in the hearts of The Commonwealth's enemies. A formidable sight on land and no less impressive at sea, it is as versatile as it is imposing. Its Mag-Rail Axe can be used for crushing attacks raining down on enemy ships or fired at a distance, creating a magnetic field that can hold a ship on its current course. This can be particularly troublesome when combined with the Cryo Generator, which serves as the machine's head, generating icebergs in front of the enemy ship, which it can now no longer avoid.
The Boyar Heavy Frigate packs a surprising punch for its size. Woe to the captain who mistakes these ships for ordinary frigates. Their combined firepower can be surprisingly devastating when misidentified. Squadron captains have used this to their advantage by confronting their enemies head-on and masquerading as less threatening Rurik frigates to the unaware, only to turn around at the last moment and reveal their second battery of guns, unleashing the double firepower that was expected. This often proves to be the last mistake their enemies make.
