MERDC CAMOUFLAGE COLORS 3G

A 3rd generation acrylic paint set containing the eight colors essential for reproducing MERDC (Mobility Equipment Research and Development Center) camouflage patterns from the mid-1970s to mid-1980s on US Army vehicles.

Eight different patterns were developed for use in various Terrain and weather conditions, and all but one (Arctic White, which was simply white overall) consisted of four colors: In theory, color #1 and #2 each covered 45% of the vehicle's surface . and color #3 and #4 each covered 5%. The profile guide on the back of the box shows examples of each multicolored pattern.
