Description

Kyudo, the art of archery, was long the pastime of the samurai and those who perfected it became known as kyudoka. It is extremely rare and frowned upon for anyone other than a samurai to take a bow for any reason. However, the Shiho, who have little access to Black powder, have made the bow a formidable part of their arsenal. Shiho Shota, a master of kyudo, trained the faithful Shiho Ashigaru to wield this weapon to devastating effect. They can fire off multiple salvos and disappear into the undergrowth before an enemy force so much as calls to arms. Shiho Hiroto, never one for rules or archaic traditions, was thrilled to learn he had some of the best archers in Jwar who weren't samurai, but instead loyal ashigaru. Shiho Hiroto is a champion of the people, not the power to force them into submission.
They may only be Ashigaru, but they have a pool of three ranged fighters and access to the Lightweight trait, making them the best rocket troops in Bushido. For 14 Rice, they have excellent range - and power - and can keep their distance to stay safe. With the Eagle Feather Arrow as their choice, they have a chance to fire off that one vital shot that must do damage at all costs.

Blister contains two miniatures, 30mm Bases and a full color profile Card.
