Leman Russ battle tank
Leman Russ Demolisher
The Leman Russ Demolisher is a variant of the Astra Militarum's primary battle tank, the Leman Russ. Named for the Primarch of the Space Wolves Chapter of Space Marines, the Leman Russ, the Leman Russ is one of the most widely used armored vehicles in the Empire of Mankind. The Leman Russ Demolisher variant differs from the standard Leman Russ pattern in that its main weapon is a Demolisher Cannon, as opposed to the standard Battle Cannon.
Sacrificing range for additional firepower, the Demolisher Cannon is capable of inflicting unusually heavy damage on a target or completely destroying enemy fortifications. As a result, the Leman Russ Demolisher is often used as a close support tank for breaching enemy lines and sieges.
When it comes to enemy armor, the Demolisher Cannon's short range is a major drawback, but if the Leman Russ Demolisher manages to close the gap, its massive shells can take out super-heavy tanks with ease and even threaten Titans with their devastating energy .
Leman Russ Punisher
The Leman Russ Punisher is a variant of the Astra Militarum's primary battle tank, the Leman Russ. Named after the primarch of the Space Wolves Chapter of Space Marines, the Leman Russ is one of the most widely used armored vehicles in the Empire of Mankind. The Leman Russ Punisher variant differs from the standard Leman Russ pattern in that it is armed with a turret-mounted Punisher Gatling Cannon as its primary weapon, as opposed to the standard main battle cannon.
The Punisher Gatling Cannon is a large, multi-barreled ballistic weapon and is considered one of the fastest-firing slug launchers in the Empire's arsenal. The Punisher can shred through even the heaviest infantry units with punishing ease. However, the Punisher can be outperformed by enemy tanks in head-to-head combat and is often deployed alongside other Leman Russ tank variants to compensate for the loss in anti-tank firepower. There are few other tanks in the Astra Militarum capable of such high rates of fire, and Leman Russ Punisher crews have a reputation for being both trigger-happy and high-spirited.
The Leman Russ Punisher eschews anti-tank effectiveness for the ability to mow down enemy infantry in large numbers. Its turret-mounted Gatling cannon is an unassuming bullet hose that employs the simple principle of overwhelming firepower to slaughter its targets. The Leman Russ Punisher is armed with a turret-mounted Punisher Gatling Cannon, a relatively new addition to the Empire's arsenal. There are few weapons in the Empire that can unleash as much fire on the enemy as the Punisher. The tank is an effective anti-infantry tank, especially when equipped with other anti-infantry weapons as well, such as B. Sponsor-mounted heavy bolters and heavy flamethrowers. Like any other Leman Russ variant, the Leman Russ Punisher can be equipped with a hull-mounted lascannon or heavy bolter. Leman Russ tanks that are part of an unusually well-equipped tank regiment sometimes have 2 multi-meltas or 2 plasma cannons as sponsor weapons. The tank can also be outfitted with camouflage netting, additional armor, a Hunter-Killer missile launcher, upgraded communications gear, a minesweeper, a pivot-mounted heavy stubber or storm bolter, track guards, rough terrain mods, a dozer blade, and smoke guns.
Leman Russ Executioner
The Leman Russ Executioner is a variant of the Imperial Guard's primary battle tank, the Leman Russ. Named after the primarch of the Space Wolves Chapter of Space Marines, the Leman Russ is one of the most widely used armored vehicles in the Empire of Mankind. The Leman Russ Executioner variant differs from the standard Leman Russ pattern in that its primary weapon is the powerful Plasma Destroyer, as opposed to the Battle Cannon. The Executioner is a powerful anti-tank tank, but its temperamental main weapon makes it unsuitable for long engagements.
The Executioner is one of the oldest variants of the Leman Russ, and entire regiments of this tank were used during the Great Crusade. Over the millennia, knowledge of plasma technology was gradually lost, and the Executioner is now a rare relic. When deployed in combat, the Executioner's plasma cannon fires with the fury of a miniature sun, searing tightly packed infantry and searing through vehicle armor with ease.
This miniature offers a variety of customization options - the top hatch can be modeled closed or open, with an optional tank commander. A laser cannon, heavy bolter, or heavy flamethrower can be added as hull-mounted weapons, while heavy bolters, plasma cannons, multi-melta, and heavy flamethrowers are options for sponsors. Also includes a searchlight, smoke launcher and other tank accessories.
This kit comes as 98 plastic components, and is supplied with an Astra Militarum transfer sheet, which can be used to apply markings and insignia. It can alternatively be assembled as a Leman Russ Punisher or Executioner.
