The Sicaran Main Battle Tank was an Imperial Main Battle Tank and one of the most advanced armored vehicles used by the Space Marine legions during the Great Crusade and Horus Heresy in the late 30th and early 31st Millennium. These powerful vehicles were exclusive to the Legiones Astartes Armories and were about to be introduced as standard Legion vehicles when the Horus Heresy broke out. This allowed Warmaster Horus to ensure that many examples of the new tank would only make it into the armories of the Space Marine legions who sided with him prior to the outbreak of his rebellion against the Emperor of Mankind.

In the 41st Millennium, many adepts of the Machine God deny that the Sicaran is anything but myth, an imagined or at best half-remembered phantom of an age long ago shrouded in blood and shadow. Others, particularly older Techmarines, know that the Sicaran is real and once served the Legiones Astartes as they fought the wars of the Great Crusade.

The main armament of the Sicaran Main Battle Tank is a two-piece set of the highly advanced Herakles Pattern Accelerator Autocannon. These Weapons are similar to the much heavier Accelerator Cannon mounted on the Fellblade super-heavy tank. While the accelerator autocannons used by the Sicaran are smaller, they are superior in terms of rate of fire and accuracy, and can fire shells at far higher velocities than a standard autocannon.

This allows the Sicaran to attack fast-moving enemy vehicles and locate weak spots in their armor with deadly precision. The Sicaran is also armed with a hull-mounted heavy bolter and two sponsor-mounted Weapons, which can be either heavy bolters or lascannons. The vehicle can also be equipped with a Hunter-Killer missile launcher, additional armor, a dozer blade, an auxiliary propulsion system, armored ceramic armor, a searchlight or smoke launchers.

This multi-part plastic kit makes one Sicaran Main Battle Tank, a high-speed vehicle armed with a set of turret-mounted accelerator autocannons. The Sicaran also features a hull-mounted heavy bolter and a pair of sponsor Weapons - your choice of heavy bolters, heavy flamethrowers, lascannons, or Volkite kulver. The kit contains components to upgrade this vehicle with a trunnion-mounted weapon - a chaos launcher, heavy bolter, heavy flamethrower, multi-melta or a combi-weapon with five configurations (bolter, flamer, melta, plasma or volkite) - and a searchlight , a Hunter Killer missile, and cosmetic options like tow hooks, a dozer blade, and your choice of a Space Marine gunner, spotter, or closed hatch.

This kit comes as 204 plastic components, and is supplied with a Legiones Astartes Vehicle Transfer Sheet containing 44 optional markings and symbols for the Sons of Horus and Imperial Fists legions. This miniature is supplied unpainted and requires assembly.
