The Korean War, which took place between 1950 and 1953, was one of the first major conflicts of the Cold War. Supported by the Soviet Union and Communist China, the North Korean regime fought the South Korean government and a UN force of 21 countries for control of the peninsula.

The Korean War is unique in the annals of world and military history and interesting in its own right. One aspect that is rarely discussed is the cultural implications of having so many Western, non-Western, and European nations fighting combatants from the Orient. Because of the enormous cultural diversity of so many nations fighting each other in such close quarters, cultural differences had significant implications for how combatants interacted on the battlefield. These differences went beyond simple language barriers to include problems in logistics, religion, personnel exchanges, and the nature of warfare.

Inside the book is a comprehensive history of the conflict, with details of every major battle fought between the two sides. It also includes details on the various forces, their organization, commanders, and equipment. For many of the battles, there are scenarios and a comprehensive troop selection to help you assemble your troops.

A copy of the Bolt Action 2nd Edition rules is required to use this Supplement.
