Canis Rex is a unique Knight Preceptor piloted by Sir Hekthur Cerberan, a Freeblade known as "the Chainbreaker" who was once a scion of the House of Cerberan that ruled Randoryn Alpha's Knight World. After his homeworld and home were conquered by the Heretic Astartes of the Iron Warriors Traitor Legion, Cerberan prayed to the Emperor for a miracle while the Chaos Space Marines tortured him.

His prayers were answered when his Knight Preceptor's machine spirit self-activated his war machine and aided his escape. Now, Cerberan and Canis Rex travel the galaxy trying to liberate all in the Imperium oppressed by Chaos and more mundane tyrants alike.

This multi-part plastic kit contains the components required to assemble one Knight Preceptor. This is serious kit - it contains a complete Imperial Knight Warden kit, along with 37 additional components that upgrade the base Knight to the Preceptor - and optionally the specially named Preceptor Canis Rex. These components can be broken down as follows:

With this kit you can tinker a Canis Rex, it is based on the Imperial Knight Warden, but also contains 37 additional Parts to be converted into a Preceptor.

The Knight Preceptor comes as 250 components, and is supplied with a Citadel 170mm Oval base, a Citadel 25mm Pilot Foot Round base, and a transfer sheet with Imperial Knights heraldry and special Canis Rex heraldry.
