With the ability to slow its metabolism to a crawl, it can lie motionless for years, waiting for unwary prey to wander within its reach.
Despite its monstrous form, some warlike clans dare to capture a Cavern Dweller alive, aided by the cruel cave trolls. Chained and driven half-mad with hunger, it is unleashed in battle—a living nightmare whose insatiable hunger can only be sated by carnage.
