Skywardens
The word skyrigger describes two different types of troops equipped with back-mounted aether endrines that grant the wielder the power of flight. Endrinriggers are members of the Endrineers Guild and answer to a ship's captain and the Endrinmaster of the fleet. They carry rapid-firing rivet guns and aethermatic saws to perform mid-air repairs, and fly where needed to repair damage to a ship. In distress, Endrinriggers can deadly use their powerful Tools, piercing the enemy with red-hot rivets or slicing through armor, flesh, and bone with their whirring saw blades.
Skywardens are elite members of the Arkanaut crews, a form of air cavalry capable of aiding the fleets. They use powerful, heat-generating vulcanizer Pistols to bring enemies down before lowering their skypikes and charging in to finish them off. Each Skywarden is equipped with sky mines to harass flying enemies and a timed explosive. These charges are the perfect weapon to aid in the Skywardens' hit-and-run attacks, as their delayed detonations wreak havoc among enemies and allow the duardin to blast away in a blast of aether fumes.
To conserve fuel, Skyriggers often hook onto Arkanaut Ironclads or Frigates and follow the airships, detaching and flying away when targets of opportunity arise.
This kit comes as 88 components, and is supplied with 3 Citadel 32mm Round Bases and 3 flying sticks of different heights: 30mm, 32.5mm and 35mm.
