"First I heard the howling in my sleep when I could still afford to rest, but now I hear it in my wake, continuously and getting louder as they get closer. I've been running for weeks but now I'm tired, so tired and the dogs are almost to me.
Karanak, also known as the "hound of vengeance", is a unique meathound of Khorne who is the embodiment of Khorne's vengeance. No one can hide from the blood god's favorite dog. Karanak chases them all across space and time, no matter where they hide or how long they run. When not hunting, Karanak watches over Khorne's brass throne. Unlike regular Flesh Hounds, Karanak has three heads, each capable of tracking down unfortunate prey in different ways.
For those who draw the wrath of Khorne, there is only one destiny. Those who insult his pride, warriors who break his faith, cowards who refuse to shed blood—Khorne's wrath reaches them all. From the ends of realspace to the depths of the Immaterium, across space and time, Karanak is Khorne's pet dog, the incarnation of the blood god's vengeance. Relentless, vicious, and single-minded, Karanak is a relentless hunter, pursuing his prey through the twisted demon realms and the depths of realspace. No army can defend against him, and no wall can block his path. As befits Karanak's privileged status, he has been gifted with a superior version of the brass collar worn by other Flesh Hounds. Possessed by Khorne's hatred of sorcery but the blood god's wrathful vengeance, the thick metal band resists psychic powers as easily as its wearer's scaly skin repels rainwater.
Karanak always remembers the psykers who dare throw their despised magic at him in battle; Though it may take years, the hound will inevitably have his revenge, and once his prey has been killed there will be great satisfaction in munching on his magical bones.
