Formed in May 1942, the Arditi X Regiment was named after the famous Italian assault units of World War I and tasked with taking on the British LRDG and SAS units in the western desert.

Originally composed of three companies consisting of paratroopers, lifeguards and the motorized forces of Arditi Camionettisti (often in AS.42 reconnaissance vehicles conducting long-range reconnaissance patrols), the Arditi X undertook clandestine sea, air and land operations, often behind enemy lines .

The box contains 10 metal figures with plastic bases.
