Ironstrider

The Ironstrider Ballistarius (plural - Ballistarii) is a walker used by Adeptus Mechanicus Skitarii.

They are used as mobile artillery platforms and are gyroscopically balanced. These walkers are also equipped with downlinks that provide them with all the knowledge of their enemies, making the deadly accuracy of the Ironstrider Ballistarius legendary. These Walker teams, along with their Skitarii Ranger escorts, tirelessly scour the galaxy for valuable targets. Their mechanised mounts are capable of running for years without stopping on the most hostile terrain. Its mount is of such high quality that the monotask servitor tasked with steering the vehicle is often the first component to fail. This is largely thanks to their Ironstrider engines.

When Ironstriders approach a war zone, they are downloaded with the sum total of the Mechanicum's knowledge of that specific battlefield. Particularly salient in these data links are the locations and appearances of enemy commanders, allowing for quick and easy identification and elimination with twin machine guns or laser cannons.

This 80-piece multi-part plastic kit contains all the Parts needed to build an Ironstrider Ballistarius or a Sydonian Dragoon, and includes a small decal sheet and an oval base (105 x 70 mm).
