The Invictor Tactical Warsuit, is a lightly armored Imperial walker that often provides fire support to Vanguard Space Marines in the field.

The Invictor Tactical Warsuit is a stripped down version of the Redemptor Dreadnought frame. Instead of a revenant hero in a life-support sarcophagus, this walker is piloted by an unharmed Primaris Space Marine, the Invictor's integrated systems hooked up to its Mark X Phobos Power Armor inloads, its machine mind (artificial intelligence) united in Binharic choral harmony with the autosenses of its Helms.

Invictor pilots are chosen from among the Primaris warriors who display an ability for quick, independent thinking and a protective attitude toward their battle brethren.

Invictor Tactical Warsuits are used in everything from armored escort duties to close quarters siegebreakers and urban monster hunting. However, the most iconic role for these strays is as armored support for the Vanguard Space Marines.

Their plasma reactors and servos are designed to run with a minimum of noise, and their weaponry allows them to unleash devastating firepower from either a dual-linked Ironhail autocannon or a compact Incendium cannon, whose pyrotechnic blasts unleash entire swathes of enemies turn into flaming corpses heartbeat.

While keeping the enemy in range, each Invictor wields a modified heavy bolter in its posable power fist, essentially functioning as an oversized sidearm. When the enemy closes in, the pilot mag-locks this weapon to his machine's hip, freeing his massive servo fist to smack, crush and bludgeon even the largest foes into the red demise.

This combination of medium-to-close-range firepower, armored resilience, and the selfless mindset of the warsuit pilot combine to provide exceptional support for vanguard forces; Far from help and often vastly outnumbered, the Vanguard warriors have good reason to applaud the hulking silhouette of the Invictor Tactical Warsuit that fights at their side.
