Imagifier
An Imagifier is a member of the Sisters of Battle who carries a Simulacrum Imperialis into battle. Within Seraphim Squads, the Veteran Sister Superior carries the sacred symbol, effectively becoming an Imagifier
The role of an Imagifier is sacred to the Sisters of Battle, for it falls to them to extol the virtues of fallen sisters and preach their deeds in the midst of battle, so that the spirit of the martyr may indwell the order's warriors. They carry a banner bearing the image of a revered martyr with sacred text, which when held aloft serves as a place of faith for the Sisters of Battle. The Imagifier narrates the martyr's righteous deeds over the roar of gunfire, inspiring nearby sisters to new heights of violence. Many sisters are close to tears in the presence of an Imagifier, for to have served the Emperor so valiantly and died in his name is the ideal all sisters aspire to.
A Chapter often has multiple Imaginators serving simultaneously, often deployed in different war zones. At the front, they accompany the senior Canon and serve as part of her entourage, ensuring they are positioned where the fighting is thickest. When confronted by the enemy, an Imagifier plants her standard in the ground and takes up her Weapons. Even as she fires at the enemy, she continues to sing the glory of the fallen, never missing a syllable of the litanies as she guns down heretics and xenos. Those Sisters who have been granted the rank of Imaginator have generally proven worthy when serving as Superior or Celestian, although on rare occasions a proven lower-ranking member may be given the role. An Imaginator trains for her new duty through phenomenological study of a particular martyr, memorizing not only her deeds but the sacred meaning of her death. Where possible, the remains of the fallen are exhumed from the Order's crypts and restored to their condition, allowing the Imagifier to meditate on the corpse while it engages in its training. The Imagifier then guides the Sisters of the Order of Pronatus in making the image of the martyr.
Celestian Imagifiers acting as part of a Command Squad may wield a Blessed Banner or their Chapter's Sacred Banner in place of a Simulacrum Imperialis.
The kit builds a single Imagifier supporting a pillar on which is mounted an image of a fallen saint wielding a chalice and sword. The Imagifier can be assembled with a choice of two head options - one is helmetless, with a hood hanging low over the Imagifier's eyes, while the other is helmeted.
This set comes as 11 plastic components, and is supplied with a Citadel 32mm Round Base.
