Namarati Reavers
If the Namarti Thralls provide the front infantry of the Idoneth Deepkin phalanxes, the Namarti Reavers provide the archers and scouts. The Akhelians recognize the tactical necessity of reconnaissance, picket lines, and massive rocket fire, but consider such duties below their esteem. Therefore, the Reavers are assembled from the smoothest and fastest of the Namarti. Their weapon training focuses on quick aiming and firing the silent Whisper Bow, as well as defending themselves with short, sharp blades designed to stab.
In battle, the Namarti Reavers move swiftly, like the bow wave spreading ahead of the coming storm. They examine defenses, seek out vulnerable prey, and plunder the enemy's mightiest war supplies. With their deadly volleys of arrows, the Namarti Reavers distract the enemy and divert their attention even as the Akhelians unleash devastating attacks.
Despite their poor eyesight, Namarti Reavers are incredibly accurate with their bowfire. They aim by sensing changes in pressure in the Aether Sea and can track electromagnetic pulses in much the same way as many of the predators that track the inky waters of great depths. So keen are these senses that the Reavers are able to make recordings that those who see by conventional means would find difficult, if not impossible. There is a downside, however, because although Reavers' senses are highly attuned, their field of vision is not as far-reaching as sight, and so they must remain at a certain distance from their target lest they lose sight of it.
In this kit you get enough Parts to build 10 Namarati Reaver. As Equipment you get Whisperbows and Keening Knives. An icon bearer can be built as an option, this bears a huge, forged Mathlann slave rune,
The kit comes as 93 components, and is supplied with 10 Citadel 32mm Round Bases.
