Ice Maiden Battlefleet Set Information
The invention of Pycrete, acquired by Knight-Luminary Herman Mark, enabled the construction of the very first Ice Maiden. The concept of a ship built from a hollowed-out iceberg was initially met with some skepticism, but after the initial tests, it was deemed worthy of further exploration. The first prototype ship was named Frosty Beauty and being the very first ever built, lacked some of the later technologies of its sisters. Its unique size and strength at sea ensured it dominated any naval engagement.
With a displacement weight of over 100,000 tons and a crew of over 6,000, the Ice Maiden Dreadnought Super-Carriers are the largest ships in the Imperial fleet. They each carry sixty Messer Storm Fighters, a dozen Blitzen Bombers, and enough supplies to ensure their squadrons can perform a multitude of sorties wherever needed.
The SMS Prinzessin Wilhelmina was the flagship of the First Atlantic Fleet and the pride of the Royal Prussian Navy. Named after the Emperor's eldest daughter and heir to the imperial throne, this immense ship delivers a particularly deadly version of the infamous 'Kaiser Salute' with its six Heavy Volt Gun Batteries.
Whenever one of these mighty constructions is engaged in naval combat, they are typically accompanied by a variety of smaller support vessels and frontline cruisers to protect the behemoth from smaller, faster enemy ships. The weapons in the Ice Maiden's bow can be easily and swiftly exchanged to suit the specific mission, much like nearly all other ships in the Imperial fleet.
