Blissbarb Archers

Blissbarb Archers are the foot soldiers of the Slaanesh Sybarites. They are the lowest of Slaanesh's mortal followers, and as such their domineering champions are not yet permitted to share in the glory of melee combat. As such, they take on the task of bringing pain and destruction to the enemy from afar, becoming swift archers.

Glückbarb retinues are often accompanied by shambling Figures known as homunculi - Creatures that flock wherever the carnival goes. They make the incredibly powerful Blissbrew toxin used by the Archers to harvest the remains of enemies and sacrificed prisoners.

Always eager to prove themselves to their superiors in order to climb the ranks of the carnival, the Blissbarb Archers goad each other to pull off the most daring and impressive shots. Even when running at full speed across a rutted battlefield, they can shoot with remarkable accuracy and laugh as their arrows penetrate enemy eye sockets or chinks in their armor. If they are certain their commanders are not looking, they will desperately settle for stabbing their downed foe.

Blissbarb Archers wield their treasured bows. The tines of their arrowheads are only decorative at first, but they are also worked in such a way that they ensure maximum suffering.
