Gutrippaz of the Orruks

Gutrippaz are orruks of the Kruleboyz that make up the bulk of the Badstabbaz tribe and are often the most commonly sighted type of Kruleboyz. The heart of most warring factions, these cunning infantry, armed with filthy weapons, hunger for battle and find satisfaction in humiliating those considered nobler.

These units are led by Gutrippa Bosses.

Gutrippaz often provide the green muscle needed for killabosses' schemes and raids. Capable of forming complex battle lines, at least by greenskin standards, they have an instinctive ability to dissect enemy formations for less numerous or less skilled foes. Armed with filth-encrusted disposable weapons, life in the swamps they call home has made them masters of improvisation. It is almost an art form for the Kruleboyz to kill an enemy with a single blow, taunting the enemy as they thrash the ground while venom courses through their veins.

Favoring when a fight begins in their favor, Gutrippaz weaken the enemy with bloodthirsty screams and thumping sounds, as well as their Dread Shields, which appear as a horde of vile monsters under the effects of hallucinogenic mists created by Swampcalla Shaman. Many battles have been won by breaking morale through such methods, but Gutrippaz is still hot-blooded like any Orruk, and one of the challenges for a killa boss trying to take prisoners is to get Gutrippaz to stop.

The Gutrippaz' weapon of choice is a stikka polearm, but the more bloodthirsty orruks can substitute a hacka for it. Stikka is preferred as the spear keeps the distance between them and the enemy as well as has more utility and can even be thrown as a ranged weapon when desperate. If it breaks, which is common when fighting more heavily armored enemies like Stormcast Eternals, a new one can be crafted in minutes.

The skare shields they wield are usually made of battered but durable metal plate, but there are variations made of other materials, such as metal. B. carved from hardwood or hardened leather from hard-skinned beasts. The color and design on the Skareshield are used to show Orruk loyalty, but all have the visage of a snarling, wide-eyed predator. They are further enhanced with bioluminescent mud and seaweed that impart effects such as glowing eyes. They are also coated in poisonous dirt, which is used to re-poison their weapons.

Standard bearers carry Gutrippa banners and some may be musicians carrying either a horn or a drum.

This kit also includes the option to build a Gutrippa Boss, a Gutrippa Banner Bearer and a choice of two Gutrippa Musicians.

This kit is supplied with 10 Citadel 32mm Round Bases. These miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly - we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Paints.
